I often like to browse flickr for some inspiration and on one of those tours I found Jann's stream. Instantly, I knew that she would be a great source of inspiration. The photos she took has such great presentation and composition. She seems to see points of view that most people would not even think about taking a picture of. The use of depth of field, bokeh, and points of view are her key strengths and she uses them so well in each and every shot. Fabiela’s photography is so inventive and exquisite! I am in awe at her daring, dramatic processing – Fabiela (Jann) uses such gorgeous and unusual purple, blue, golden and red tones to process her images! She has excellent processing skills, but this talented woman also takes flawless Straight-Out-Of-The-Camera pictures. She once called me the “Queen of Quotes”, well, then she is the “Queen of Focus” – her focus work is always spot on! Some of my favorite pictures include Jann’s alternative takes on buildings, making them look unique and interesting. She has a refined eye to figure out the best angles and to see beauty in objects that most people don’t notice. She is an all around talented photographer who can take pretty much any kind of pictures well and who is familiar with the coolest processing techniques. In addition to being an outstanding photographer, Jann is also one of the coolest contacts you can have. I love her comments on my work and also love visiting her stream. She often asks questions and initiates relevant discussions. Flickr is a more interesting and less shallow place because of her! I stumbled across Jann's work here at Flickr and was hooked almost immediately to her photostream...she is that rare talent who can shoot an image and process it so beautifully that actually makes you gasp when you view it on your screen. Her ability to compose, to see things that others looking at the same scene would miss is amazing...as are her amazing "tilt shift" images. Her talent is simply incredible..she is such a fabulous photographer and anyone could learn alot from her...I know I have...she is a true inspiration! There is a pleasure and a joy in finding the beauty in the intimate, the small and the closely observed. In taking what we see in the everyday and finding what is hidden. In picking the point, the crux and the apogee of a subject and making it the whole observation. In allowing the unseen to be your whole. In taking what you know and seeing so much more than a cursory glance would reveal. I read once that what makes an artist is the ability to SEE and not just look. SEEing the point in the abstract. SEEing the abstract in the everyday. SEEing the hidden beauty in the details. SEEing can be learned but for some it appears to be a gift, making the creation seem effortless. Some people are lucky I guess. Fabiela is one of those people. Lucky to be able to SEE and not just look. Lucky to find the beauty around her and lucky to have the ability and skill to translate it into something lasting and beautiful. Lucky to be an artist rather than simply a recorder of images. We are lucky too, because she shares with us. I won’t say I’m not jealous of what she can achieve, because, quite frankly, I am. But I’m glad she lets us share the joy she finds.

I’ve been following fabiela's photostream for months now and I must confess that her photos are simply amazing. She captures objects with such great beauty and detail that will surely leave you in awe. It's really amazing how she captures everything with perfect lighting and good angle. Her types of style are dof, macro, bokeh, or sometimes sooc--- trust me, she’s good as these level. Fabiela has some mad skills when it comes to photo editing (U should really see here before and after shot) and sometimes it would leave me speechless whenever I comment at her photos. O yes! It will happen to you eventually or maybe it’s just me. There are many words to describe her creativity and talent but all I have to say is that her talent is truly a masterpiece. P.S: I simply have too many favs from fabiela photos but I truly enjoyed every moment that she post new photos.….=) Keep up the good work Fabiela and thanks for the wonderful comments.
