I am a semi-professional photographer (among many other things). I became interested in photography in the 1990s when I began looking at older buildings in the downtown areas within the Phoenix metropolitan area. I had originally intended to photograph every mapped town in Arizona at one point, but financially it became unfeasible (had to pay for lots of film) and my skills were not great. However, I learned throughout the years and I am quite proud of much of what I do now. I am also trying new things that are outside of my normal comfort zone and hope to be able to purchase more professional equipment in the future.
