The European Young Innovators Forum (EYIF www.eyif.eu) is a non-profit, pan-European organization whose mission is to empower young innovators to play a transformative role in Europe's future. EYIF aims to foster the spirit of innovation among European youth, and supports them in developing their innovative ideas through its Digital Innovation Platform and Young Innovators Mobility programme.

Launched at European Parliament on 12 July, 2010 at a joint European Commission, European Parliament and Council of Europe event, EYIF gives voice to a community of young innovators and experts that believe in taking risks and the value of shared ideas and professional mentorship. Intended as a permanent forum, EYIF is a natural next step to years of existing, ad hoc, collaborations amongst innovators, experts, hosts and companies distributed across Europe and its neighbours in a variety of sectors including independent research institutes, SMEs, industry Innovation labs and academia.

The Innovators in the forum participate solely as individuals and not represent companies, associations, entities or networks. They come from diverse, multidisciplinary, multinational backgrounds and who are passionate about the role of Innovation for European renewal.
