I am an Australian from Sydney and while I call Canberra home I currently live far far away.

I need a compact pocket camera to survive.

I’ve fooled around with photography for years. I remember the excitement of my first Kodak Instamatic camera with flash-cubes. Enthusiastic teachers both, my aunt was queen of lustrous travel slides and my father king of moody B&W prints and classic composition. I fell in love with a Canon SLR in my teens and spent hours making blotchy prints. I ditched my much loved sturdy Olympus OM2 for a passionate flirtation with an Olympus Mu. Thus began serial affairs with smaller and smaller digital pocket companions. Its not how big it is its what you do with it, I’m told. I love pushing great shots from my Canon Ixus 70, S110 and my EP1. Even so I still have fun taking lazy snaps.

I mostly work editing video or I don’t work at all and both are equally fun occupations.
