From the moment I first stumbled upon Miss Emma's stream, I have constantly found myself asking the same question.... How can someone with 'Eyes Closed' see and photograph the world in such a phenomenal way. Warm, thought proving, evocative, irreverent and unique are just a few words I would use to describe a trip to her stream. She is stronger than she realizes and more beautiful than she can see. *Note 3 or so years later - I can't imagine not having Emma in my life - I ♥'s this precious beautiful woman

Living is easy with eyes closed. I love this photostream. Emma is a young lady from the southwest currently attending university in the northeast. She is blessed with a vivid imagination and the talent to pull off her quirky visions. She has a great sense of humor, and I frequently find myself smiling while viewing her photos and reading her descriptions and comments. She's a bit shy, but yet she is unafraid to show the full range of human emotions in her photos. I'd also like to add that Emma is kind and she cares about the world we live in. Also, she's very pretty. A fact that is evident to all save perhaps herself. Some say she resembles (Oscar Winner) Anna Paquin.

Emma is not, despite rumors to the contrary: - A Ghost - An imaginary figment of a man called Carl who lives by the sea - A seamstress in 1843 - A toaster What she is, however, is harder to define. Ethereal and wisplike you can sometimes catch her out of the corner of your eye but then when you turn to look she is once again gone. They say she roams the English countryside and that whatever her eyes sees somehow magically ends up in a photo though this has never been proven. They say her photos smell of hickory and old childhood memories, and you will cherish them for days to come. And the few that have been verified in meeting her, say that she's pleasant and witty, though she'd never admit it. So keep afoot, traveller, and hope you run into this will-o-the-wisp. You won't regret it.
