My photography examines the world from a slightly different perspective. Not content with simply taking photographs of beautiful things, I personally find photography more challenging and rewarding by transforming ordinary or often overlooked objects into unique, artistic, abstract compositions. My images are bold, graphic and colorful, often fill the entire frame and void of distracting backgrounds. I am constantly searching for interesting geometry, repetition of form, texture and the contrast of light and shadow.

My equipment includes a Canon T6s with 18–270mm Tamron VR lens and a Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS25 when I need to be less conspicuous.

I enjoy sharing my work and exploring the images of so many other talented people on flickr. Thanks for visiting. Please do not be offended if I do not reciprocate contacts, I like to keep the number manageable. I'm sorry, but I block contacts who have no photos to share and only collect favorites.

I draw a lot of my inspiration from artists from the Precissionism Movement, such as John Register and Charles Sheeler. Also from more contemporary artists such as Edward Hopper and photographer Jay Maisel.

For me flickr is about good photography not winning a popularity contest. I always post what I believe is my best work (quality not quantity) and I would much rather receive a comment as opposed to a fave (which interesting enough, was common practice many years ago). Consequently I always try to leave descriptive comments to photos that I feel are truly unique and distinctive. I really don't care about the number of views I receive, they alone are not an indication of good photography. For the same reason I seldom post my photos to groups. Thank you for visiting my photo photostream.

What a great collection of interesting and very appealing graphic images. A real talent for spotting the perfect composition amongst ordinary things. Bravo !!!

Larry has a keen eYe for the image indeed. His chosen nickname is like a well tailored suit. Always a lover of the square format, it's the tight painterly crop that gives a lot of tension to Larry's photographs. The graphic quality of his compositions is eye-watering. Splendid exciting work. An inspiration!

I am pleased, if a little surprised, that I am only the second to write a testimonial for Larry. His is a photostream that displays a unique and highly evolved style with images that are never less than of the finest quality. Larry's abstract architecture work is a masterclass for anyone looking to see the potential for creativity when photographing buildings.
