Garden Coaching

Do you want a garden, want to create it yourself, but don’t know where to begin? Have you ever wondered how to properly care for a plant, a tree, or a vegetable garden? Did you inherit a gardener’s garden with your new house . . . only you’ve never gardened before? Are you interested in building your own stone walls, patio, deck, or pergola? Would you like to consult with a garden historian about choosing plants and hardscape that are appropriate for the architectural style of your house? If any of this sounds familiar, you’ll want to explore our full range of garden coaching services.

Our coaching program is designed to launch you on a path of self-sufficiency. In the comfort of your own garden, we teach you effective techniques and strategies to create a healthy, delightful outdoor living space where you will want to spend time. To keep your existing landscape in top condition, we offer horticultural coaching, including tips on planting and transplanting, soil improvement, weed and pest control, plant identification, lawn care, growing edibles, and pruning. Our experienced (and fun!) coaches can also help with plant selection and placement for new areas, design and hardscaping suggestions, and hands-on training in landscape construction.
