I have always enjoyed photography and have had a constant desire to hone my photographic skills but being single and working as an Information Systems Administrator, I just didn't put a whole lot of time in to photography. After I met my girlfriend Gillian, that changed.

Gillian has two children, that at the time we met were 7 and 10. She also has a Bachelors of Fine Arts in photography from Rochester Institute of Technology. Shortly after she and I got together, we decided to take her kids on their first trip to Walt Disney World, which would also be the first time either of us had been there since the late 70’s. The Disney Magic put its spell on us during this “first trip” in April 2008. Gillian and I now make every effort to visit multiple times a year and photography has become a major part of our enjoyment of those visits. And yes, the kids still go with us at least once a year!

Our combined skills and interests in photography, Disney travel, and computers have led us to create our website/blog, Exploring WDW, where we share our enthusiasm for photography and all aspects of Walt Disney World. Flickr will become yet another outlet for this enthusiasm.
