I enjoy camping, hiking, kayaking, mountain biking, geocaching....and just about anything else outside. We live near the Lake in Western Michigan and like to spend of our vacation time camping along the shores of the Great Lakes.

I recently decided to take a camera along on our adventures and try to learn how to take better pictures. I wish I would have started along time ago. We have been to so many great places over the years, but only have some bad snap shots to show for it.

I started out experimenting with just a cheap Kodak Z915 which I still use when I am on the water or trying to save weight. I recently upgraded to Cannon Rebel XS and I am having fun learning to use it. I welcome any feedback, good or bad.
