Long time appreaciator and recent photographer. the procurement of a large bulky and delightfully complex digital SLR can do wonders to your urge to organize the world around you into an ever growing collection of freeze frames. In a subtle way I like to take photography to an extreme, Macro and extreme telephoto are of particular interest at the moment although the long end is a bit hampered till the hopefully speedy aquisition of something over 400mm.

I am a Film and Digital Media major at University of California Santa Cruz where this is much to take pictures of and very few classes about the process of doing so.
