My background is in designing arts and illustration. I am a landscape designer by profession, and have worked the past 15+ years in interior/exterior design. I have recently switched my focus back to my original gardening interest - food production and organic growing. I am currently the Market Garden Manager at Tranquille Farm Fresh, I am the Community gardens Coordinator for Interior Community Services and active with the Kamloops Food Policy Council. Master Gardeners Association, and the Friends of the Garden (F.O.G.) Although I am presently immersed in organic produce production, my passion is in design and creating unique outdoor living spaces. I am still designing and managing landscape installation projects; however, at this time I am focusing on building my studio and creating a nursery at Tranquille on the Lake. My nursery will be opening mid season and I will be back to the drawing board in the fall. My work with growing fresh organic veggies and promoting food security through our organic market, community gardens, and KFPC have kept me very busy this spring season!
