i have just recently upgraded my toy considerably (from my one-and-only digital p&s canon a80, c. 2005, r.i.p.), to a bouncing new nikon d5000. am still very much in the throes of learning the ropes – hope i can even remotely do justice.
i am enthralled and inspired by contrast, texture, color, elements, composition and design – and consider myself an active imaginist. (note: that means i make stuff up :-)
to that end, for me, much of this imagining is done through post-processing. if you see something in my stream that is over-processed – wait, make that when you see something that is over-processed – just know, that i know, that it is. likely, because i applied zealous measures to redirect attention from how grainy or poor my shot probably was. ;-p)
plus, in truth… i like to play. it's fun.
so give a wa*hoo! for imagination –
and a double-wa*hoo! for software :-)
