I see beauty in everything...

I hear music in the wind.

I smell joy in the colors.

I touch hearts with my photos,

If you will just let the beauty come in...

 

I taste life in the shapes.

I feel the edge of the shades.

I dream big, just to get a bit.

Help me to give generously some

Dream, hope, life, will, and wit.

 

I see clearly what is needed.

I heard they voted against it STAT.

I smell world peace is in the air.

I tell you the answer is: LOVE

I ask you to help me to stop the hate!

 

I don't want to hear you say:

"That's impossible." It's not.

I want you to join me in my work

To spread love everywhere,

To create peace and harmony.

The freedom to open our minds and our hearts...

The freedom to see and to feel the artists' emotions...

The freedom to dance to the songs of revolution....

The freedom to enjoy the stillness or motion...

The freedom to think and to say what we feel...

The freedom to whisper or to scream

what we want others to hear...

The freedom to read anything,

and the freedom we had, to learn to read...

The freedom to taste because we had something to eat...

The freedom to move and the freedom to idle,

The freedom to dream to have a title....

The freedom to smile, to laugh, and to sing,

The freedom to imagine just about anything...

The freedom to be, to exist,

to live.................................

These things...

to THE WHOLE WORLD WE MUST GIVE!

I am sending you each, as many hugs

as many petals are on this flower.

You have gone through a very hard time,

indeed the hardest time ever.

 

In the past few weeks you had to face Life

in it's lowest, deepest, saddest valley.

To lose a father is terribly hard;

just like a sword stabbing you in the heart.

 

Let me be here for you with a kiss

to wipe away your sorrow.

Let my love penetrate your soul

to make you feel less pain tomorrow.

 

Let me hum you a lullaby of your childhood,

that will sooth your heart, if anything could...

May only nice memories of your father come back,

May those memories replace

all that was lost, all that was bad.

 

May you forget all the neglect and regret.

 

"Hush little baby don't say a word...."

Please, let your heart feel my prayer.

"Hush-a-bye, don't you cry..."

Tomorrow the sun will shine much brighter.

 

Sshh, don't even notice the cold out there,

and don't acknowledge the icy eyes staring at you

from the distance, so far,

they don't even know who you are.

 

If they really knew you as I do,

they would end up loving you,

and the people who scold you

what they'd give just for the chance

to have a son or daughter like you.

 

Know that I am proud of each of you;

especially of who you have become.

Not what you do, but who you are.

You care for each other.

 

You are sensitive even

to the hungry, homeless stranger,

you all have love and compassion

for people and nature.

only God knows how much I love you,

and how my heart aches when your tears I see.

Oh, if I could be young again!

I would walk on the other side of the street, maybe I would run into different people...

I would talk to strangers, and make new friends...

I would exercise more,

I would join every possible school club....

I would put more effort into singing in the choir...

I would ask my parents to tell me their life stories 100 times...

I would travel more, explore, and search the world...

I would trust my heart, and instinct...

I would love my body the way it is...

I would read more, and more, and more...

I would not stop asking questions...

I would not wish I could change the world, but actually act, and start changing it...

I would not protest against things I dont want, but go fight for the things I believe in...

I would be more of a free spirit, and I would be more a leader....

If I could be young just once more!!!
