I am a photo extremist.

 

I like both minimally processed (e.g. straight jpeg output) and heavily processed photos (e.g. HDR tonemapping, photo stitching, photo stacking).

 

I like both photos with extreme simplicity (e.g. only a few lines, silhouette and sky, very shallow DoF) and photos packed with details (e.g. night HDRs with details from the middle of light bulbs to darkest shadows)

 

My favorite subjects include: beaches, clouds, mountains, flowers and foliage, squirrels, "explore the town", candid portraits, snow scenes, transit buses and trains, modern architecture, dilapidated buildings, human interactions with the Mother Nature, astronomical wonders -- just to name a few.

most of my photographs are post-processed with Canon DPP and/or Photoshop CS2. HDR photos are generated and tone-mapped using Photomatix Pro. Panorama photos are stitched using Hugin.
