I grew up in Austin, Texas (Go Longhorns!). It was in Highschool there that I was first introduced to the art of photograhy through a photography class. I got to do everything there, from developing the film, to printing the photos. But what I really liked was the art of taking the shot.

Sadly, once the class was over I was left with out a camera. I tried to make do with the standard cheap cameras, but it wasn't the same. It wan't until my partner, Jeff, bought me my first SLR (NIKON N65)for my birthday seven years ago. I went crazy with the photography, spending up to $200 on develpoing alone. I had a blast. But I realized how expensive it was.

So did Jeff, which is why he bought me my Nikon D50 for Christmas. My first digital camera.
