There are a number of photographers who do work similar to what Evan does, but I can't think of anyone who does it so well. Evan has a great talent at finding art in form and color that surround the urban landscape. While he has a masterful ability to see these abstractions, he doesn't just chronicle them. Like a true photographer, he expertly frames his subjects and places them in a new context, so that each ordinary subject becomes a work of art. I am continually impressed with Evan's ability to find and frame new material. While he takes great pictures all throughout the country, it's exciting (for me) to see the work he does in Baltimore in particular. Evan's pictures teach us to look beyond what we normally see and explore the rich "manufactured landscape" that surrounds us.

Evans eye on the world will draw you into colour and forms that are hidden for most. Infact your first impresions will come with questions like were how.
