Hi and welcome to my Photostream. I live in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada. I've worked in television for 37 years and have been a video editor for the last 13. I bought a DSLR primarily to shoot video, but, unexpectedly caught the photo bug, so I've taken a keen interest in getting better at the craft of capturing and creating interesting images.

At this time, I own a Canon 60D and shoot primarily with a 17-40mm L series, and, also with a beautiful 100mm L series macro lens. Also, I've purchased a Fujifilm X100S, for those "point and shoot" moments. Sofware-wise, I use Adobe Lightroom as my initial grading tool and then push images to Photoshop for finer work. As well, I will run any HDR imaging through NIK HDR Efx and do a lot of mono work in NIK Siver Efx Pro.

Flickr is an wonderful place. I am constantly awed by the breadth of work and talent found here, and by the people who have honoured me with a FAVOURITE or a FOLLOW. The generosity, inspiration and encouragement of the Flickr community provides is indeed humbling.
