I have not been in Livorno since 1985, in Italy last was 2000-2001 Christmas and New Year. My memories of Livorno and much of my early years during my 9 visits to your country hinge on the city names and little memories. As I get older, I have such sorrow for my wasted youth spent on fleeting things instead of saving beautiful memories of such a beautiful and rich country. I long to return. I look at your beautiful captures that come in such varied forms and I pray that the world opens up enough to allow us to return, with cameras in tow. Until then, I will enjoy what you continue to capture. You have a good eye.
