Hospitality entrepreneur and Partner in New York’s leading restaurant and nightlife hospitality company EMM Group, Eugene Remm has years of marketing and event experience under his belt. A New York native, Remm began his career in public relations and promotional events at a top New York City firm before moving on to nightlife and restaurant operations positions where he honed his skills in preparation for the creation of EMM Group in 2006 with Partners Mark Birnbaum and Michael Hirtenstein.
EMM Group, recently dubbed by Forbes Magazine as “The New Kings of New York Nightlife”, specializes in restaurant and nightlife operations, event production, marketing, promotions and lifestyle management. Since launching its first successful, EMM Group has opened doors to some of New York’s hottest restaurants including The General (2013), a modern Asian mecca on the Lower East Side helmed by Top Chef Winner, Executive Chef Hung Huynh; CATCH NY and CATCH Miami (2011, 2012), globally influenced seafood destinations in the heart of NYC’s Meatpacking District and the city of South Beach; Lexington Brass (2011), an American bistro adjacent to the Hyatt48Lex in bustling Midtown Manhattan; and Abe & Arthur’s (2009), a new American steakhouse with a bustling bar scene. EMM Group’s nightlife portfolio has burgeoned as well and now includes FINALE (2013), SL Miami (2012), HQ and The Social at REVEL Resort & Casino (2012), CATCH Roof (2011), SL East (2011), SL NY (2009), The Chandelier Room at the W Hoboken (2007) and TENJUNE (2006).
EMM Group’s business portfolio has continued to grow with the creation of new trend-setting hospitality and lifestyle projects. In 2007, EMM Group purchased The Estate, a privately-owned property in the Hamptons, and launched Four Hundred, a members-only lifestyle management service, which, along with the 14th Street location of the EMM Group corporate office, has reinforced the company’s stronghold in the area.
