I have been an artist all my life. I found out that I have fibromyalgia and I couldn’t work outside the home so I started my own business making wine bottle luminaries, incense burners and lanterns. I love to draw, paint, make jewelry and recently I learned how to etch. I taught myself how to do all the artwork that I do. I learned how to etch from watching videos on youtube lol. I didn’t think I could etch glass right away so I started with tile and I finally got the confidence to do etched glass. I learned how to cut the glass to make luminaries (also learned on youtube) and I also learned how to make lamps. All the designs are drawn by me and each piece is truly one of a kind. I have been studying etching for over a year now and I am still learning and growing. I am so happy I found this because it really helps me get my mind off of being sick and it really up lifts my spirit.

I use a Dremel Rotary tool to do the etching. I never used a power tool before and the first time I used it I had a lot of fun lol mooore power. I use recycled glass but I am trying to find more glass. If you have glass that I can use please let me know.

I finally found my niche and I am very happy. I am looking forward to doing this for years to come.
