It's 7:05 and sunrise is at 7:22 today. I enjoy quietly reflecting and planning my day while experiencing each gift of the new day. I tend to be an early riser. My absolute favorite thing to do is caffeine, nicotine and devotional reading as early as possible, usually at 5:00. I also write some. mostly ramblings, but I have completed several devotionals.

Photography? Self taught although recently I became active with Digital Photography School because it gave me structure in my learning curve with assignments. For many years I was a showing artist (watercolor) with a few national juried shows. Photography is just an natural extension. Many of the "rules' and "formulas" are the same.

I have a tendency to be reclusive, bookish if you will. Not unfriendly but it takes me a while to warm up (smile). I am quiet natured.

Goal? I'm working toward my first serious digital:a Canon 5D, and a 1.4 50mm (the classic). Yep, the 18-135 too would be a nice to have. I'm just a dinosaur and prefer more classical work. Okay, I can hear the snickers...when I was young there actually was electricity, okay? (Smile) Even AM radio...
