60 year old man living in Bristol England. Lived as a child in East Malling, Kent, and subsequently in Cheshire, Birmingham, York and Norwich. I've been in Bristol now for 28 years.

I'm fascinated by the local history of Bristol and the part of Bristol i live in. I love to photograph it and I will post photos of the city and it river over the next few months. i like to take unusual views of things as well as straight documentary photos.

My main intereast is in composition rather than great camera technique or effects. I am especially interested in shadows, sihouettes, reflections, textures and in how lines intersect and interact.

I use a basic SLR (a Nikon D40) and use the simple tools available in iPhoto to "tweak" rather than modify the images I take.
