I've always had a passing interest in photography, but mostly from the viewing, rather than creating, perspective. In Spring 2011 I decided to turn that passing interest into a full hobby, which has now turned into a strong passion.

 

I'm currently trying to soak in as much information as I can, with the help of online tutorials, books, and practice (lots and lots of practice). While I lack much of the gear, I'm enjoying playing with natural light and working on holding my camera steady. Hopefully Christmas will bring a tripod or decent flash ;-)
