This flickr account is dedicated entirely to the wonderful variation of people I see on a day to day basis in my home base of Portland, OR.

All of my subects are unaware of my presence, and I hope that karma doesn't bite me in the ass for this, but I think people are at their best, or at least most interesting, when they don't know anyone is watching.

I use a cellphone, so the image quality is low, but getting better with each progressively more advanced phone I get. And anyway it's hard to be inconspicuous with a giant SLR in hand, but easy as pie if you pretend you're texting.

If anyone sees photos of themselves on here that they would like taken down, I'd be happy to do so, but each and every one of you is a treasured part of my collection of people.

Portland is so wonderful, and the people here are a particular brand of strange, which I hope to convey in this ever expanding collection of unique and extraordinary characters.
