Ebrahim Alsinan is a professional photographer working for national daily newspaper Gulf Daily News. He has been working as a photographer since 2004, quitting his lucrative day job as a network engineer in order to follow his passion. His growing interest in photography led him to pursue advancement opportunities, and he spent his time reading about the field and learning from more experienced photographers. Ebrahim’s current work includes shooting various political and social events, as well as high-profile international events such as the Formula One, The Bahrain International Air Show, Bahrain Boat Show and Jewellery Arabia. He also travelled to Syria in November 2013 for a joint photojournalism and humanitarian trip.

His previous work experience included working for popular regional monthly lifestyle magazine Layalia, shooting events and high-profile people, including celebrities and politicians.
