Lets see, my wife and I are the unofficial family photographers, which is my excuse for posting hundreds of photos of family events.

Back in college I took a few semesters of B&W photography with my trusty Pentax and cultivated a real interest in the art. But time passes, life got in the way as they say and I more or less stopped taking pictures outside of family events and vacations.

This year I upgraded to a Canon 450D (Rebel XSi) and have decided to pursue photography as a serious hobby. I have dusted off the old books and had to re-learn the basics, Depth of Field and the like. But I am making progress and hopefully will recall how to take a decent shot someday.
