She has such a big heart, which is incredibly evident in her work, and thrives off the feeling of helping the ones around her, as well as herself. It takes courage to let people know how you feel, not to mention acknowledging one's own feelings, and because Erin does this so much it is clear that her photography is a completely expressive of herself and not something done half-heartedly. I can't image someone seeing Erin's photostream and not coming across something they can't relate to - it's astounding to think that one person can make such a impact on the one's around them, not to mention doing so through the internet. I’ve wanted to write you testimonial for a while now but I never quite know how or where to start, because your photos would just speak a thousand words of what a wonderful person you are, and my words will only be a reiteration of those and what others have already said. I was stunned the day you added me as a contact, even intimidated. But that soon transformed into feelings of awe (still stunned though) as I looked through your stream, your photos are absolutely beautiful in its most raw and honest form. You always have a way of capturing the little simple things and make it magnificent, infused with emotions and beautiful meanings which I aspire to understand. I treasure your words as much as your photos, you can always say so much with so little and each time there’s this thoughtful message about life that prompt me to ponder for a while. And then, along the way I found out what a lovely, selfless person you are. I don’t know you that well but I can tell you’ve the kindest and most gentle soul; there’s something about you that’s so genuine and trusting that makes even complete strangers open up to you. I have put off writing this testimonial for far too long now. Erin the Photographer: Erin is such an incredible photographer. Incredible isn't even a strong enough word. I do not think there is a word, at least there isn't one in my vocabulary, that describes how positively astonishing her work is. With her photographs she inspires so many people including myself. The feelings and themes that come out of this girls photos tug at my heart strings and effect me in such a personal way that I thought could never even be possible. The color and tones this photographer uses is beyond beautiful. Her composition and processing skills have kept me up for days without sleep trying to figure out how in the world she does such incredible things with her already incredible photographs. I just can't believe my eyes when I see her photos. Her photos have such a vintage feel to them I love them. She could seriously snap a shot of a bare wall and make it the most beautiful thing my eyes have ever seen. I wish I could see the world through her eyes. It must be a beautiful place. Descriptions, oh her descriptions. She always, always, ALWAYS has something so positive and uplifting to say that you can't help, but end up with a grin on your face and feel a little inspired to do something with your life. The way she knows how to string words together to create the most beautiful sentences is just plain incredible. Erin the 'Sketch' Artist: Just like her camera, her pencils, pens, ect. is just another extension of her body. I know she has only teased us with the things she can do with these utensils, but already her work is astonishing. Her hand bone and hip bones sketches are truly gorgeous. The way she also uses her sketch genius such as, using her hand bone sketch on her own hand to make such a beautiful stop motion video is just incredible. This girl is so amazingly multitalented, it's insane. With her sketches she inspires so many people to just pick 'it' up and try. I think you know I think that already though. And really, your photography is incredible. There's so much emotion contained within each shot, and I find myself waiting for your next post, because what you have to say is so valuable. I know that every word you've written has a purpose; there's not one that is wasted. And I also know that when you do speak it is usually to build people up, and make them feel better about themselves. Normally, they're not amazing photos, but still pretty good. I looked at your stream, and thought to myself "she must have pressed the button as a mistake." Because your stream was just... Amazing. Breath taking. And then as I started talking to you more, I realised that you're equally as good a person. I know; this should be about your photos but you deserve be told how amazing you are. And I know that my words are just a drop in the ocean towards what you have already classed as a lost cause, but I want to make you love yourself. Because no matter how much you dislike who you are; I genuinely think you are perfect. God, the things I would give just to be a tiny bit like you. Because you're beautiful; no fakery, just naturally beautiful which is so rare and you have that so be proud. dear erin, from the very moment i saw one of the photos on your stream, to the moment when i began spam favouriting your pictures, to right now, i have never stopped being amazed. :) all the emotions you display in each picture, all the loveliest descriptions, the most thought provoking ideas, the delicate beauty - they inspire me so, so much. i am so proud that you are publishing a book, though i wasn't really surprised :P because i knew it would happen. i can't wait to see it when it comes out. never stop taking pictures, because that would be like asking one of the brightest stars in the sky to stop shining. keep up the wonderful pictures! stay beautiful
