Hey! Thanks for checking out my page. Most of my images are of hand knit monsters which I design.

I get asked a lot where the idea came from to make these. Well, it's not really all that interesting of a story, but here it goes. I did my undergrad in Visual Art and got pretty used to spending hours and hours in the studios creating. I LOVED it... but I when went on to do graduate work in Art Education and I had less time and less space to make things. Don't misread this, I LOVE TEACHING and I am super passionate about education... but not making anything drove me pretty crazy! In class I doodled a lot [I always have to be doing multiple things at once!] and some of my silly doodles looked like they could be silly sculptures. Since I didn't have the facilities to do ceramic work, I decided to try knitting monsters... and through trial and error I got to where I am at today. When I'm not teaching, I like to create monsters to sell at shows all around WNY!
