My name is Erik and i am from the Netherlands.

For now i am living in New York for the past 5 Years.

 

I started making pictures very late, although I have always had the interest to do it.

Then on my birthday ( May 2006 ), I had my first digital camera. A Nikon Coolpix camera.

 

I have made hundreds if not thousands of pictures from just everything: people, my house, any kind of holiday or party, hehe. Bad pictures, but a lot of fun.

 

Then last year (2007) I got a better camera,

A Fujifilm S9100 FINEPIX. Since last September i have really started to focus in trying to work with my camera instead of just making pictures.

 

With my friend Varon we help each other on photography and so we have just started to shoot people. Specially now that we bought a Caliber 6400 flash stand light, which helps us so much.

 

I get a lot of joy from being able to share my small start with the world and my friends; most importantly with my Mother and Brother's Family, through Flickr.com

 

I hope that you will enjoy my picture as much as I did taking them.
