River guide / Photographer / all-around good guy (or so they say)... But basically, I am a whitewater junkie who spends most of my time while not on a river thinking about how I am going to get on one soon. Other than that, I love photography, animals (especially birds), and wild places. My life philosophy is pretty simple - "Try to leave the world a better place than it was a few moments ago." Of course, I suppose we might disagree on what the correct definition of "better" really is, eh?
