I am a USAmerican -- born and raised -- and now I live in Iceland. I am single and have three kids (from a failed marriage) and two grandchildren. I've been in Iceland since January of 2000. I'm a marine biologist researching marine mammals these days.

For me, photography is a good way to share my life experience with my friends and family. I try to capture things in a new way or things that are uncommon. But, I also like to document things that I do, places I've been, and people I've known.

Please ask for permission through written correspondence before you use any of my photos. Though I normally give freely, I do not want just anyone to get their hands on these photographs and you do not have the right to profit from my work.
