I've had an interest in photography for as long as I can remember. Right now it's fueled by the Strobist thing. Taking control of the light has been eye-opening. I'm at the stage where I'm overdoing it right now, experimenting with different things. Subtlety will come later. I hope.

My first real camera was my Dad's Kodak Retina IIIc. It was a great introduction to photography because the manual exposure meter forced me to learn about the relationships between exposure, shutter speed, and aperture. I still have it somewhere, and should dig it out.
