Ie, he is a dear contact... His photogallery is amazing. He looks at the world in his special Ie-way, and shows us what way that is. It is a way I like, I admire... His photos are delicate, reserved, but not hiding the real world. Ie, he is a kind person, who leaves nice, warm, funny, humorous comments and notes. A person I would dare to call a friend, although I'm not tempted to do that in the virtual webworld: for Ie I'd like to make this exception!

Erard was one of my first Flickr contacts and after almost a year he's still every bit as active and supportive as he was back then. The images he posts are mostly faithful to his own style: very clean, sprouting vivid colours and with a strong preference for reflections on almost every surface imaginable. Hence the Dutch term reflect-ie which I strongly suspect to be coined after him ;-) The great thing about Erard though, is that he does not restrict himself to his signature images but occasionally surprises me with really great stuff with a soul in it: images like Lynchie Fog as well as the images of places that look way to uninteresting to the untrained eye to be photographed convince me he's capable of truly astonishing results. Thanks for your wonderful output!

It's all about the photographer's eye with Erard. I often find myself walking around with my camera, wishing I had Erard's eyes to make myself photograph someting camera-worthy. The array of emotions that are called on in his photos is very wide. Whether it's children or grandparents, horses or buildings, landscapes or cars, ... Erard will always add some surprising element. There's no snapshots with Erard. Every jpg this man uploads to flickr is worth every digital byte.

Ie-fotografie was very friendly and helpful to me when I started around mid December 2006 to post my photos to flickr (before in November was just a trial). So I am very grateful to him for the encouragement also when I opened my 2 flickr Pools he was even proud of me! ;-) Ie-fotografie pictures are full of colours and I like a lot those of the industrial sites very much too. I find too that his photography is getting always better, as in this great community in flickr we all lean not only from our own experience but from every other member.
