In my contact list, Doug is the finest example of what makes Flickr a community. As a musician and photographer, I've always been especially keen on live music photography and randomly contacted Doug, looking for guidance on how to make movements towards this field. Since then, Doug's input and advice have been invaluable and abundant, giving much of his time to help me achieve my goals. I can gladly say that not only is Doug a contact, but also a friend. Keep up the good work dude... getting better by the day!! Paul Condron

Doug says that he believes its important to photograph what you love, and you can definitely see that Doug loves music and the people that create it. His portfolio of musicians mid-concert is amazing, with wonderful lighting and perfect compositions. The number of concerts he has photographed is staggering, and I'm sure you'll find a band in there that you enjoy. Doug' s entire photostream is great, and I would suggest sitting back and looking through it in slideshow mode, where you can take the time to recognize the beauty of every photo. Thanks for all the great shots to look through Doug Evan Farinosi

It'd be fantastic if more people were as generous with their time on this site as Doug is. And his pictures are amazing and he is one damn lucky guy! :) I say lucky but he really does deserve it. Keep it up man! :)

"Because we do not know when we will die we get to think of life as an inexhaustible well, and yet everything happens only a certain number of times and a very small number really. How many times will you remember a certain afternoon of your childhood, an afternoon that is so deeply a part of your life that you can't even conceive of your life without it. Perhaps four of five times more? Perhaps not even that. How many times will you watch the full moon rise, perhaps twenty, and yet it all seems so limitless." -- Paul Bowles, The Sheltering Sky
