Family, friends and admirers,

In my collection of photos, you will find various images of things I enjoy and collect, as well as things I have come across which I find interesting and unique. Most of the photos are of epiphytes, cacti, succulents and other plants through my journeys of this planet.

I love:

* the bold and the beautiful (not the soap opera)

* the complex and disorderly

* the simple and elegant

* them all because they are my world.

Despite all the lovely comments, I am truly an amateur photographer. No training, and a simple point and shoot camera (Canon Powershot G6). I shoot photos mainly for reference and journaling, but on the occassion add a little flair.

I love macro shots because they reveal the details that we cannot always see without squinting our eyes. It's not about a different perspective, but rather focusing. And we all need a little focus in our lives.
