I was born in 1963 in St. Louis. I moved to Chicago in 1982 after a brief stay in KC, and then moved back to St. Louis in 1989. I'm a quiet, serious sort of fellow, but far from humorless. I live a rather spartan life more due to financial circumstances than philosophy, although I am impressed by the notion of voluntary simplicity.
