My interest in photography really only started a few years ago when I took my sons on their first trip to Scotland. It had been several years since I went home and I photographed everything in sight.

The quality was mixed at best, but I'm fond of them because of personal associations.

Since then though I've read obsessively and tried to improve my technique a bit. I find the science easy easy enough but composition doesn't seem to come to me naturally.

My main subject is my kids, but I've also been dabbling with some landscape photography. Now that I have a 20x zoom to play with I'm trying more animal and plant photography too.
