PROFILE UPDATE JANUARY 2014

After 35 years living in Vancouver I've just moved to Squamish ... the town where I grew up. It's a beautiful place located at the head of Howe Sound less than 1 hour north of Vancouver: 1/2 way between Vancouver and Whistler.

The air is clean. The pace is slow. The people are friendly. I couldn't be happier. Same goes for my two cohorts: Tessa Curly Whiskers and Sole The Pest.

My eight years on flickr have been nothing less than life changing. I never expected to make friends that I cherish ... some locals I've met for photo-shoots ... others I've spoken with across the miles ... and several more I hope to travel to visit or they will come to my side of the world.

I am new to having time on my hands (LTD - 2008).

In Flickr I've been over-the-moon to find the perennial threads of who I am coming together. My interests have always been: cats, gardening, photography and cross-cultural understanding.

In Fickr I've met like minded people ... generous people who share their lives, photography skills and cats!

In Flickr I've appreciated learning how to greet people in many languages, the ease of navagating the site, the atmosphere of support among members and the fun of favourites, explore, toys, etc.

In Flickr I've found a home on the internet.

P.S. I live in Vancouver, Canada ... with the love of a good cat.
