I suggest you browse my stream by COLLECTIONS: they are thematically and geographically arranged, and makes things easier than browsing through the individual sets. Older sets, moreover, keep on being updated with new photos.

Time is short, interests are many: history, archaeology, art, cinema.... This stream is just a VERY SMALL sample of my life. There is much more, but this will stay protected out of the web: I am not a fan of the Big Brother, and I do not have to justify myself for that.

I have been on Flickr since 2007 and I have seen enough of the web to know its good and bad sides. Since I am sick and tired of image thieves, stalkers, trolls and similar creatures, from June 2010 onwards my account is family and friends only, and only one picture is visible to the general public (plus the ones I post into groups). I prefer quality over quantity, so I do not care how many will see or fave my pictures; I am just looking for intelligent comments and shared interests, and I am very glad to learn from good photographers and kind, bright persons. I am very careful in adding contacts; time is short anyway, and I shall have no time to follow more than a few streams. So please do not add me to your contacts random, or just for advertising reasons (how on earth can you keep track of everyone if you have 2000 or 3000 contacts?? This is not Facebook!): I will not reciprocate. On the other hand, if you share an interest with me and would like to see my photos for some meaningful reason (art, archaeology, history, cinema etc.) just send me a message first.

All these groups are 18+, although they are regular art and archaeology groups, for a very simple reason: believe it or not, some Flickers and Flick admins think that nudity in ancient statues and paintings is something scandalous (ridiculous, eh? Yet, there are people out there who think that the Louvre, the British Museum etc., are not places for children!!) so let's play it safe. Of course all the Flickers interested in ancient history, art history, ancient music, archeology are invited to join and contribute. Just drop a line to me or to Khnum-hotep .
