Neil mallett

Mostly human, with 2 legs/arms/hands/eyes/ears/testicles etc.. I have some hair and I wear clothes including footwear. I often do stuff except when I'm not doing anything. I have enjoyed taking pictures all my life although I am not sure where too.

An apatheist is someone who considers the question of the existence of God as neither meaningful nor relevant to human affairs. Thanks to wikipedia, I now have a definition of my religion.

Flickr

I have been on flickr since February 2006 and in that time have learned so much, which I hope shows in my pictures. I've made some new friends here, both young and old and enjoy looking at life from their points of view. The number one lesson for me though is shoot the ordinary because the ordinary is what becomes the interesting in the future. Seeing photos of old streets and places that have changed beyond recognition or even gone forever is, for me at least, fascinating. So take that picture now, you may find it dull and uninteresting now but for future generations it may take on a whole new appeal.

Faves

If I have added a fave on your stream without a comment it's probably from one of my 'fave surfin' trips. When I get a fave from someone, I often go to their stream to find a fave to repay the compliment, then I check out their own faves to find another fave and then go to that persons faves for another, then their faves etc etc etc. It can take hours and it's difficult to know when to stop sometimes but it is a great way to find nice new pictures and contacts and you can learn a lot. Why not give it a try now, you could start from here.

Blog

My blog - Not the most interesting or the most updated but worth a look perhaps. It mostly contains my favourite photos from my own and other peoples flickr streams along with the occasional funny link.

Of even less interest to the vast majority is my youtube, which is mostly made up of train videos. There will be other stuff occasionally though.
