I still remember the sunny summer day my mom first let pick up a camera. I was so excited after taking the photos that I spent the next days eagerly waiting to see the developed film.

When the pictures finally arrived I was amazed with the possibility of pausing the world and capture life frames in a pieces of paper. This was long time ago, but the essence of that day still lives with me.

Whenever I see those photos, I instantly travel back in time to that magical place, where I’m just 7 years old.

And I’m able not only to see that beautiful sunny day, at the beach, but also to feel it: Inside these pictures my skin is once again kissed by a nice refreshing breeze, I can hear the waves crashing softly, feel the sand on my feet and the taste of sweet chocolate ice-cream melting in my tongue.

All these memories are vividly attached to me and I believe that they are the main reason why I never stopped taking photos after that first day. I'm still trying to capture the beauty of the world and the instants in life.

I grew older and my equipment and technique may have improved (maybe not a lot :O ), but I try to keep intact my motivation and my eyes fresh, in order to never lose the capability of being amazed and surprised by the world that surrounds me.

Hope you enjoy my photos as much as I enjoyed taking them. Any comment is welcomed! I especially thank the ones that help me improve, because still have a lot to learn. I’m sure my best photos are still out there waiting to be captured. So hope you can give me an hand in my endless travel to find them :)

PS- Feel free to add me as your contact, but only if you are interested in my work and in communicating with me, not as just part of a meaningless contact collection.
