Our intent is to create a visual highlight of our adventures and the opportunities we've had to enjoy, explore, capture and display, the enchantment we see in the world around us. We believe this fair earth is truly "Our Enchanted Garden" a magical place, to be honoured and celebrated!
People, places and moments in time,
whimsy and wisdom and nature divine.
We're driven to share with the world our excitement and hope others may experience at least a faint glimpse of our joy! In a world that often appears wrought with pain, anger and fear we believe there is a beautiful dance unfolding; a dance of humanity and nature learning to BE; learning to exist co-creatively and co-operatively.
The "we" I refer to is Cheryl Binstock, and my partner John Taylor. With John's help as a willing driver, best friend, biggest fan and kindest critic we are able to produce and share these images and our inspirations.

Some background to our inspiration:
In honour of Earth Day on April 22nd, 2006, Our Enchanted Garden joined in concert with like-minded gardeners around the world through the World Garden,, a project initiated by Barbara Wolf of Global Meditations.
Read this Blog; for more information about the project.
Part of our front garden, a naturalized meadow, is dedicated to nature and allowed it's own development and growth to provide habitat for small song birds and other garden friendly creatures.
Note: As of August 29th, 2006 there are over 3,140 gardens worldwide (South Africa to Europe to Australia to the US and Canada) already joining in the effort! (51 photographs are posted to the site), including one from Our Enchanted Garden.
In addition we attempt to record things we find of interest, experiment with shots that are for artwork or web design projects I'm playing with. Some shots are simply for a story on my blog, or background images..
Learning as I go, I truly enjoy the challenge to my creativity!
I love the world we live in, and enjoy myself immensely when I can examine it with a camera lens! ;-)
