Well, hello there! :) First off, let me say, "Thank you for reading my profile!" I am so inspired & in awe of the talent that is on Flickr!!! I am constantly mind blown at the beauty and/or uniqueness & also creativity & awesomeness of the people on here so thank you so very much for inspiring me every single time I log on!!! I, personally, love to take pictures of things that charm me or just catch my interest at the time. I'm usually "in-the-moment" & don't have any agendas when I go out since I am a "casual & amateur" photographer & I don't really know much about photography, but I enjoy going on what I call "point & shoot adventures" to add inspiration to my life & connect with nature & the Universe/people around me. I love anything with water, trees & interesting signs. Nature overall intrigues me, but I love quirky things as well!

I've been a Flickr member for a long time & never posted anything, just admired others photos. As I enjoy it more, & take it a little more seriously, I've been going back to some of my old-er pictures & revamping or deleting since some are pretty bad. There's times that I think to myself, "Why did I post that?" ha But, like i said, I'm usually "in the moment" for most everything I do!

Either way, I love meeting new people & making new friends. I really appreciate being able to see different things, parts of the world, other points of view in my local area & whatever else shows up on here that I wouldn't have gotten to see otherwise or through someone else's perspective! For the first couple years you make stuff, it’s just not that good. It’s trying to be good, it has potential, but it’s not. But your taste, the thing that got you into the game, is still killer. And your taste is why your work disappoints you. A lot of people never get past this phase, they quit. Most people I know who do interesting, creative work went through years of this. We know our work doesn’t have this special thing that we want it to have. We all go through this. And if you are just starting out or you are still in this phase, you gotta know its normal and the most important thing you can do is do a lot of work. Put yourself on a deadline so that every week you will finish one story. It is only by going through a volume of work that you will close that gap, and your work will be as good as your ambitions. And I took longer to figure out how to do this than anyone I’ve ever met. It’s gonna take awhile. It’s normal to take awhile. You’ve just gotta fight your way through.”
