I got really into photography back in 2009 after taking a 3 month sabbatical to Australia and coming back with A LOT of pictures!!

Along the way, I started to get really frustrated with my Olympus point and shoot which I got at the time mainly due to the fact it was waterproof to 10m as I spent a lot of time in the water! Other than that, it was complete pants in low light and the focusing capabilities were pretty much non-existent! I remember trying to get some decent pictures of the NYE fireworks at Sydney Harbour which I had to accept, just wasn't going to happen!

So, this Christmas, I thought I'd go all out and get myself my first DSLR. I'm a massive fan or travel and wildlife photography and would love to be able to take National Geographic standard shots one day (I can live in hope!!).

As I'm completely brand new to 'proper' photography, I've taken on the challenge of the 365 Project so I can really get to know my camera's capabilities and develop my photographer's eye.

Any comments on my stream would be hugely appreciated as I'm always keen to take on-board constructive feedback!
