Emily joined the Paley Rehab Team from New York City. She received her Master’s in Physical Therapy from Ithaca College in 2001 and her Doctorate from Temple University in January, 2007. Emily started her career at NYU Langone Medical Center as a senior physical therapist in the outpatient department and began her specialization in cancer rehabilitation, lymphedema, and women's health. During her four years in the department, she assisted in the piloting and growth of the Women's Health and Breast Cancer Rehabilitation program. Emily also gained knowledge of sports and spinal rehabilitation while working per diem in an outpatient clinic in Manhattan. In December of 2007, Emily became the Safe Strides Director of Gentiva Homecare of Metro New York, where she developed and implemented marketing plans, educated and supervised staff, and provided patient care to the elderly population with balance and vestibular diagnoses. An avid runner and swimmer, Emily enjoys living in South Florida.
