I am a painting student in my first year at the University of Brighton. My practice currently investigates the concept of reinterpretation, particularly focusing on the natural world. Exploring imagery through colour and gesture, I have aspired to reinvent the edgeland by breaking down the landscape into fragments, to then reconstruct it, incorporating my own emotion and experience.

I have been experimenting with different ideas over the past few months and feel I have found a concept in which I am really interested and connect to. The landscape of Jersey, where I live, continues to constantly inspire me to create work and surround myself with the brilliance of nature.

I am using this account to display my current work for assessment. Journals, preparatory work and paintings have been categorised into ALBUMS to make things easier to locate.
