Emiliano Facchinelli was born in Trento, Italy on the 10th of February in 1976.

He attended the Art Institute of Trento and graduated from the Art Academy of Bologna in 2003.

His final dissertation focused on the Italian photographer Gianni Berengo Gardin.

From 1996 to 2010 he was based in Bologna.

During this period he participated to different photographic projects: concert photography, theatre performances, social documentary and still life.

He is mainly interested is social documentary. His main influences are: Gianni Berengo Gardin, Robert Frank, Bruce Davidson, Diane Arbus, Ugo Mulas, Larry Clark, Ryan McGinley

Currently he is based in London, UK
