Hi, Welcome to my Flickr profile.

My name is Emiel Dekker and I live in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

I have been taken photographs for years. And just like most of you I started out with taking photos during trips and vacations, or family gatherings.

But these last few years photography has become a more important part of my life. I really enjoy going out with my camera and take shots. And I also love to play around with the post processing in Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop.

But I am still an amateur. And I have not specialized myself yet in a specific field or personal style. I enjoy shooting nature, landscapes, street photography and architecture. And only recently I started with people / portrait photography.

And for style, I like both color and black & white / monotone photography, and (some) HDR photography.

I'd love to receive comments and advice on my photographs, my style (...), and post processing quality. And tips on my weaknesses and strengths (type and personal style) in photography are also welcome.

In August 2016 I bought a Fujifilm X100T. This camera is just a blast to take out in the streets and shoot!
