Emi Curatolo, freelance photojournalist.
She has artistically worked for years with visual image, and recently developed as journalist and photographer.
The main charateristic of her trade practice espouses the landscapes of the sorrounding realities: from urban to industrial and architectural, from the landscape and historical heritage to the anthropological.
She steeps mainly into the dimension of the street photography, which is often representing an elusive reality made of nuances that often eyes are not able to catch its innerest side.
Pictures as realistic rapresentations and expression of a hidden reality all the mean while, this is her pure essence. Two dimensions crossing by her poetical spirit, reality and metaphysics, coming together to be eternalized in vibrating voices, flavors, fragrances, emotions.
Every moment of your life can disguise a unique magic to your eyes, because in the all context we miss some of the thousands little details in the few seconds that we have at disposition to observe and to seize the day.
What remains in the eye after the first glance is often the most intimate side of the action. The masterpiece, the Art, is the channel by which the eye is returned by what has not been seen. That's the point of the photography.
Thanks to a costantly evolving tecnique, Emi's Camera is an experimental field: to portrait the flowing time and keep it, turning it from a linear dimension into a multidimension where stories, memories, lives are no longer lost pieces, but captured together in a charming frame.
