I really like quilts with bright/bold/saturated colors (think Anna maria Horner's good folks fabric)

I like more "modern" quilt fabrics as apposed to the traditional ones found in old quilt books.

I'm addicted to using grey (light and dark grey) in quilts as a neutral.

I love solids.

I like tiny piecing, free piecing, foundation paper piecing, etc.

I like text in quilts - whether it's pieced letters or free motion quilted words, or even text fabric is cool... or embroidered words.

I like to play with texture in quilts too - using different fabrics such as linen cotton and corduroy.

I listen to Adele, Billy Joel, and The Civil Wars while sewing.

I've read the Harry Potter series about 7 times.. I think it's about time that I start reading them again.

I feel like the Hunger Games trilogy will hold a similar place in my heart.

I like bikes.

I'm shaving my head for childhood cancer in March.
